Empowering and orienting communities to develop resilience to global warming-induced climate change and creating space for community initiated informed action for conservation and preserving ethno-cultural and bio-social diversity.
Combating poverty and hunger through holistic multi-thematic lifelong learning and skill building process and in the long run emerge as a dynamic knowledge, resource and training space for different group of people.
Our Intention / Vision
We collectively aspire to and envisage a democratic and eco-socialist society where marginalized communities will be able to assert their development perspectives and future will not be a mere state-led agenda based fixed pathway rather a continuous engagement with multiple institutions driven by communities.
Third Wave Foundation, by design, moves beyond the run of the mill ideas of stitching activities into programs and defines its forays in the domain of development as ‘endeavors’, where ideas are generated and regenerated. Building a collective vision of development is the ultimate goal of the TWF and all its activities are geared towards ‘reimagining development’ and in the process working as catalysts of change.
